Building visibility ● Creating opportunity
Our mission is to connect students, families, educators, and communities with languages, programs, and opportunities of Central and East Europe
Many students are interested in language study but often only hear about the most visible choices. Languages of Central and Eastern Europe offer rich cultural traditions, global relevance, academic distinction, heritage connections, and meaningful career pathways—yet many programs remain undiscovered. Students may not realize these languages are taught at universities across North America, that study abroad pathways exist, or that communities and professional networks are actively supporting them. This website was created to make those opportunities easier to see.
Many excellent language programs in Central and East Europe remain undiscovered. This website makes them easier to find and helps students see the opportunities that may be right for them.
Information about these languages and programs is often scattered and difficult to find. A group of instructors and advocates came together to create a central getaway for exploration and connection.
Students today are looking for meaningful, global, and distinctive opportunities. These languages offer all of that -- but only if students know they exist.

This initiative was developed through collaboration among instructors and advocates committed to expanding access to Central and East European languages.
